ISO 6 Cleanroom Facility
Design, Supply, Installation and Commission of an ISO 6 Cleanroom
Airology were appointed as Principal Contractor to design and build an ISO 6 cleanroom facility to enable their client to meet their new requirement within a modern industrial unit.
After extensive surveying of the empty warehouse, Airology finalised a design that would ensure a constant condition, high quality standards and a fast turnaround of products. Particular attention was given to pressure monitoring to compensate for pressure fall and increase.
What is an ISO 6 cleanroom
A cleanroom is an enclosed space, usually with hard solid walls, in which particles, pollutants and contaminants in the air are controlled using a filtration system. An ISO 6 cleanroom is sometimes called a class 1000 cleanroom as it uses a HEPA filtration system to keep the number of particles in the air to less than 1000 particles per cubic metre.
